Abstract:
Macromolecular structure of iron-containing bionanocomposites based on natural polysaccharide arabinogalactan have been studied. Also, the magnetic properties of Fe3O4 nanoparticles stabilized by the arabinogalactan matrix for biomedical applications have been evaluated. The electron paramagnetic resonance broad line, attributable to the core of Fe3O4 nanoparticles, shows some anisotropy, this signal being broadened with decreasing temperature. The dependence of the spectral characteristics (such as g-factor, linewidth, and anisotropy), coercive field, and remanence magnetization of nanocomposites on the size of magnetite nanoparticles is presented. The effects of the novel bionanocomposite on erythrocyte systems in experimental anemia, as well as the iron-stabilizing effect, correction of iron deficiency and relief of the manifestations of iron deficiency anemia, are analyzed.
