Abstract:
Chemistry and materials science of Herz radicals (1,2,3-benzodichalcogenazolyls; chalcogen is S or Se) are discussed including their synthesis, structure and reactivity. Preparation and functional characterization of radicalbased molecular conducting and magnetic materials are considered.
