Abstract:
Maslinic (2-alpha-hydroxyoleanolic) and 2-alpha-hydroxyursolic acids were isolated for the first time as methyl esters from methylated acid part of ethereal extract from dried leaves of Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.). These compounds are identified by NMR (H-1, C-13) spectral data and physical constants.
