Abstract: Qualitative and quantitative compositions of polyisoprenoid alkohols-polyprenols of Sea Buckthorn leaves are determined. These alkohols are found to be present in leaves in free and acylated forms. Acylated polyprenols are accompanied by acyl esters of 2,3-dihydropolyprenols (dolihols). Dolihols are detected in plant leaves for the first time. Composition of polyprenol and dolihol mixtures was determined by HLPC with employing of standard samples of polyprenols and dolihols.
