Abstract:
Polyfluoroaromatic zinc compounds obtained from bromopolyfluoroarenes in diglyme react with oxalyl chloride in this solvent both in the presence and in the absence of CuI to give 1,2-bis(polyfluoroaryl)ethane-1,2-diones.
