Abstract: A series of (N-aryl)salicylaldimines was synthesized by the reaction of salicylaldehydes substituted in the positions 3 and 5 by bulky tert-butyl or alpha-cumyl groups with hydrochlorides of o-, m-, and p-(but-3-enyloxy) aniline in the presence of triethylamine. The obtained compounds formed by the reaction with TiCl2(OPr-i)(2) complexes of titanium(IV) dichloride L2TiCl2.
