Abstract: Highly fluorinated thermally stable polyimide is synthesized and used to modify alumina. The effects of polyimide concentration (10 and 15 wt %) and thermal treatment conditions on the adsorption and chromatographic properties of the prepared adsorbents are studied by the low-temperature adsorption of nitrogen and gas chromatography on packed columns. The adsorbents prepared possess mesoporous structures and ensure the selective separation of permanent gases and hydrocarbons on their simultaneous presence.
