Abstract: 16-Propargylaminomethyl substituted and 16-propargyloxymethyl substituted furanolabdanoids were synthesized, which under the action of AuCl3 in acetonitrile underwent cycloisomerization forming 7-hydroxyisoindolines or 7-hydroxydihydroisobenzofurans substituted by a terpenoid fragment.
