Abstract: The review concerns methods of synthesis, as well as the molecular, electronic, and crystal structures and the magnetic properties of a novel class of paramagnetic compounds, namely, chalcogen-nitrogen pi-heterocyclic radical anion salts derived from 1,2,5-chalcogenadiazole.
