New; developments concerning the preparation and reactivity of (polyfluoroorgano)haloboranes RFBX2, (R-F)(2)BX (X = F, Cl, Br), some of their adducts (R-F)(n)BX3-n.Base (n = 1-3), and their related fluoroborate salts M [(R-F)(n)BF4-n] were reviewed. Significant B-11 and F-19 NNR spectroscopic patterns of all three classes were described.
