Abstract: it is presented the method to get the new tert-butilreplaced polymetilen dye with a big IR absorbing at 780-810 nm. On its base it is elaborated the thin amorphus films for optical disk memory WORM. The experiments are showed the write energy is 34 mJ/sm(2), signal contrast at the reading is 70% and the signal to noise ratio is 45 dB.
