Abstract: A new triterpenoid lactone with a reported rearranged lanostane skeleton was isolated from the neutral fraction of the extract from the needles of Siberian fir. Its structure was established on the basis of chemical transformations and NMR spectra using two-dimensional (COSY, COLOC) NMR spectroscopy.
