Abstract: Two mononuclear iron(II) complexes with isomeric N,N,N-tridentate pyrimidine-based ligands were synthesized. Both complexes show reproducible hysteretic spin crossover. Low spin state to high spin state switching is cooperative due to autocatalysis.
