Abstract: The crystal structures of two substituted 2-nitropyrimidines are solved by X-ray diffraction analysis. The influence of the nitro group and the endocyclic nitrogen atoms on the geometric parameters of the 2-nitropyrimidine and related α-nitroazines are discussed. ©1999 KluwerAcademic/Plenum Publishers.
