Abstract: The possibility of the use of the ratios of the intensities of the vC=N bands in the Raman spectra of the compounds to establish the conformations of the conjugated C=N bonds was demonstrated in the case of conjugated azomethines - derivatives of 2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-3-imidazoline and - 3-imidazoline 3-oxide. © 1987 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
