Substituted 1-pyrimidyl-4-acyl-1,2,3-triazoles were obtained by the reaction of 2- and 4-azidopyrimidines with aryl substituents with acetyl- or benzoylacetone. An accelerating effect of an o-hydroxyphenylpyrimidine fragment in this reaction, which was explained by the effect of an intramolecular hydrogen bond, was observed. © 1984 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
