Anthraquinone- and naphthoquinonediazepines are formed by the reaction of 1,2- and 2,3-diamino-9,10-anthraquinones and 2,3-diamino-1,4-naphthoquinones with mesityl oxide. It was shown by spectral methods that naphthoquinonediazepine exists in two tautomeric forms. © 1977 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
