Abstract:
Heating 1-acyloxy-5,5-dimethyl-3-imidazoline 3-oxides in vacuo gives derivatives of 4H-imidazole 1-oxides. The reaction of the latter with alkalis is accompanied by ring opening and the formation of oximes of α-acylamino ketones. © 1974 Consultants Bureau, a division of Plenum Publishing Corporation.
