The review surveys the results of studies on the photolysis of 1,4- naphthoquinones with 2-dialkylamino- and heterocyclic amino-groups. New data on the structure of the primary photolysis products and the mechanisms of their subsequent dark reactions are presented in relation to the reaction conditions and structure.
