The Pt(II) iodide complexes with hydroxylamine (I, II) and cis-1,2-bis(alkoxyamine)cyclohexane ([PtAI2]·H2O (III), [PtAI2] (IV), [PtBI2]·H2O (V), [PtBI2] (VI), and [PtCI2] (VII) have been synthesized (A is cis-1,2-dimetoxyaminecyclohexane, B is cis-1,2-bis(allyloxyamine)cyclohexane, and C is cis-1,2-bis(ethoxycarbonylmethoxyamine)cyclohexane). Compounds I-VII are characterized by IR spectroscopy, electronic absorption spectroscopy, and NMR (195Pt, 13C, 1H). The structures of complexes II and IV are determined by X-ray crystallography.
