Abstract: The dammarane triterpenoid hollongdione was modified at the C-3 and C-20 positions to obtain 3 beta,20 alpha-dihydroxy and (3E,20ZE)-3,20-dihydroxyimino derivatives whose structure was confirmed by X-ray analysis.
