Synthesis of pentafluorobenzenesulfonyl bromide from pentafluorobenzenethiol, bromine and hydrogen peroxide is presented. Reactions of pentafluorobenzenesulfonyl bromide with primary alkenes (1-hexene, 3-chloro-l-propene and 3-bromo-l-propene) in solvent-free conditions are described.
