Abstract: Synthesis of pentafluorobenzenesulfonyl bromide from pentafluorobenzenethiol, bromine and hydrogen peroxide is presented. Reactions of pentafluorobenzenesulfonyl bromide with primary alkenes (1-hexene, 3-chloro-l-propene and 3-bromo-l-propene) in solvent-free conditions are described. (c) 2015 Published by Elsevier B.V.
