Abstract: A novel free fatty acid receptor 1 (FFAR1) agonist has been synthesized and evaluated in vitro. The synthesis of the title compound was performed from commercially available 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 2-thiophenecarboxaldehyde, and (+)-camphor. The compound was shown to have an affinity to FFAR1.
