Реферат: 1-(Polyfluoroaryl)propan-1-ones were transformed into 5-methyl-4-polyfluoroaryl-1,3-thiazol-2-amines by a twostep reaction sequence involving formation of 2-bromo-1- (polyfluoroaryl)propan-1-ones under the acidic bromination conditions followed by heterocyclization with thiourea to finally afford new 5-methyl-4-polyfluoroaryl-1,3-thiazol-2- amines in high yields. 1,1'-(2,3,5,6-Tetrafluoro-1,4-phenylene)- dipropan-1-one was involved in the similar reaction to give a derivative containing two thiazole moieties.
